Although if I wanted to be annoying, and I often do, I would say that technically, he wouldn't have been much better off as a dodo since they were eaten by sailors. It's tough being a bird out there! 😅

If you're looking to "spice up" your Thanksgiving If you're looking to "spice up" your Thanksgiving turkey this year, there are recipes out there for turkey breaded with Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Just saying.  I wouldn't personally try it, but YOU might be feeling adventurous. 😶
Ronny was asked to be on Newsmax this morning, whi Ronny was asked to be on Newsmax this morning, which makes this the second Thanksgiving in a row that I've had to wake up early to set up a Zoom camera for him.  I don't actually mind - that's a good reason to get out of bed.  I'm only salty that they didn't end up using any of the 40 pictures I sent that they asked for 🤣. That aside, it was a very cute segment to start the day with, and a great opportunity for us!

We couldn't get through the turkey season without We couldn't get through the turkey season without a good crew.  We are so thankful to family and friends, old and new, that make the time to help us.  This year, we had family fly in from Florida and Utah, and we had a number of wonderful people take off work to come help, some of who are pictured.  We are beyond blessed to be surrounded by such good people who make the work less of a chore.

Never met a camera shy turkey. They push and shov Never met a camera shy turkey.  They push and shove and crowd each other to try to see what's going on.
Processing almost 2500 turkeys means assembling al Processing almost 2500 turkeys means assembling almost 2500 boxes each year.  Ronny says he's still doing his very first job on the farm.  He started assembling boxes when he was almost 5 years old. He was paid one penny per box.
Monday the 11th through Friday the 15th we will be Monday the 11th through Friday the 15th we will be open from 1 to 5.  We still have apples available for picking, and there is no entrance fee this week if you'd like to come.  Friday will be the last day for pick-your-own.  Our market will be closed Saturday and Sunday for turkey processing.  We have frozen turkeys available 11 to 25 lbs, as well as all turkey parts!

Next Monday through Friday, our market will be open from 1 to 5. We will be closed Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th for turkey processing.

We are finished taking turkey orders for the year. We are finished taking turkey orders for the year.  If you didn't get your order in, no worries!  We take 1000 orders and process around 2500.  The rest are sold first come, first serve on Monday the 25th and Tuesday the 26th.  We will be open 9 to 7 both days.

Please note that our hours have changed now that it's November.  We are now open Monday through Saturday 9 to 5 and Sunday 2 to 5, but you must arrive by 4 to pick.
